Is there any way of a user amending a defect date if it has been entered wrong

      Environment: Windows XP 64 bit
      Area: Defects
      Subarea: N\A

    Problem

Is there any way of a user amending a defect date if it has been entered wrong ?

    Solution

Looks like the sole  inspection was created manually and with  a Batch id (not via loading a file). Furthermore none of the defect/repairs are on any orders so print screen the details of the inspection/defect and repairs so existing details to hand. The quickest and simplest  solution for a user to delete this inspection via the Delete Inspection Form fastpath MAI2470 or Maintenance Manager , Inspections , Delete Inspections. Query back the inspection id above or the batch id. Then delete the record with the red cross icon and save the changes. Then re-enter the information again with the correct inspection date.

It is important to do sooner than later to prevent superseding of defects should any similar data be forthcoming on the roads and be within tolerance or before putting onto a works order.
