    Slow Form Response Time

      Product(s): Exor
      Version(s): 4.x
      Environment: N/A
      Area: Exor Forms
      Subarea: N/A

    Problem

    When an user runs a query in an Exor form it takes over a minute to retrieve the data.

    E.g. An user opens MAI3800 (Work Orders) form, then press F7, enters Work Order number there and press F8 and have to wait.

    The slowness issue appears for these Work Orders which have a document attached.

    Solution

    Connect to Database server as super user and run the command (‘HIGHWAYS’ - schema name):

    exec dbms_stats.gather_schema_stats('HIGHWAYS');
