ORA-20000: HIG-0230: Inconsistency detected error on login

Problem

When you log in to the Exor application, the below warning message populates: ORA-20000: HIG-0230: Inconsistency detected between licenced product versions on the database and in the Exor Product Version Numbers File.: Check the contents of 'EXOR_VERSION.TXT' and table HIG_PRODUCTS

Solution

This is because the version specified in the HIG_PRODUCTS table and file 'EXOR_VERSION.txt' on form server is mismatched. You need to edit the product version manually in the Exor_Version.txt file. This file is referenced in Windows Registry setting "EXOR_VERSION‟ and by default is located in the <exor_base>\bin directory.

You can check the versions specified in the HIG_PRODUCTS table by logging into the Exor application and selecting Exor / Security / Products.

Please note if the Exor_version.txt file needs updating all users need to have logged out of the Exor application first, otherwise the file will be locked.
