There have been various changes to reports in TMA 4510 fix 39 to improve performance, including the addition of new product options.
You will notice when running this report that the Earliest Start Date is pre-populated. The purpose of this is to limit the amount of records returned for performance considerations. To do this we will be using the value of the existing product option TMAORUNPRD which in turn will limit the records returned to the previous TMAORUNPRD days from the Effective Date.
For example: should you run this report on the 27th March 2017 with the default value of TMAORUNPRD being 14 then the Earliest Start Date will be pre-populated with a date of 13th March 2017. The report will then only look at Works Due to Start from 13th March 2017.
Please note, we are under the impression that the purpose of this report is to ensure that Start Notices are issued on time and believe that 14 days prior to the effective date should suffice, however, if this is not the case you can amend the Earliest Start Date to be a date of your choosing should you wish to look at Works/Phases further back in time. We do recommend however that the Earliest Start Date field is always populated.
The performance tuning undertaken should show a marked improved performance on both this report and also the Query Overrunning Works (TMA1050) module.
Very similar changes made to the Phase due to Start report have been applied to this one.
The details are as follows:
You will notice when running this report that the Estimated End Date From is pre-populated. The purpose of this is to limit the amount of records returned for performance considerations. To do this we will be using the value of a new product option TMAREGORUN which in turn will limit the records returned to the previous TMAREGORUN days from the Effective Date.
For example: should you run this report on the 27th March 2017 with the default value of TMAREGORUN being 14 then the Estimated End Date From will be pre-populated with a date of 13th March 2017. The report will then only look at Phases Without a Full Registration with an End Date from 13th March 2017.
Please note, we are under the impression that the purpose of this report is to ensure that Full Registration Notices are issued on time and believe that 14 days prior to the effective date should suffice, however, if this is not the case you can amend the Estimated End Date From to be a date of your choosing or alternatively update the value of TMAREGORUN should you wish to look at Works/Phases further back in time. We do recommend however that the Estimated End Date From field is always populated.
