Incoming inspection notice fails with Transaction Status "Rejected by Web Service" and in the Transaction Errors tab "The sender has sent a faulty notice. Check transaction XML".
This error occurs when the XML of the incoming notice has errors and cannot be processed by Exor Noticing Manager. There can be many reasons for the error and we have listed the ones we have encountered below. If you can't see what's wrong with the XML please contact Support with the XML of the notice in question (see See Also section for a link to instructions on how to do this).
Check the <sender> tags near the top of the XML - sometimes they appear as
<Sender> <OrganisationID/> (should appear as <OrganisationID>9999</OrganisationID>) <DistrictID/> (should appear as <DistrictID>1</DistrictID>) </Sender>
<Sender>
<OrganisationID/>
<OrganisationID>9999</OrganisationID>
<DistrictID/>
<DistrictID>1</DistrictID>
</Sender>
If this is the case please ask the authority to contact their TMA system provider to resolve the issue.
Check the ETON version in the XML header line. It should match the ETON version of the organisation, given in their OD file. You can check their ETON Version in the Organisations form in NSG (module NSG0110).
