Background

Sometimes it is needed to remove the association between a document and the objects it's related to, e.g. if a document is associated to several assets but should only apply to some of them.

Steps To Remove Association

1. Query the document you want to change and open it to view the details.  
2. Click the tab of the object type you want to remove, in our example it's Assets.
3. Tick the box next to each asset you want to remove the document from.
4. Click the blue Actions button and select Remove Association
