Problem

It has been reported by one of our US users, that in some cases, Network edits made after 1600 PST are being recorded in the Exor database as the time of the edit +8 hours (GMT).  As a result, changes made are reflected in the Exor database system, but are potentially not available on the AWLRS Map until the start date and time are current.

The example used in this document is splitting an existing datum element.

Work-around

Start AWLRS and setup the editing environment by turning on the datum layer and moving to the work area.  Start an edit session and select the datum layer.

Select the segment to edit and choose [Split at Measure] and select the split point.

After setting the split point, the Split at Measure dialog will be displayed.  Uncheck Maintain History and Change the Effective Date* from today’s date to a previous date and then reset back to today’s date.  This is the work-around to resolve the reported issue.

Change the Effective Date* back to today’s date and press the [Split] button to continue the workflow process.
