Unable to raise any new work orders. Every time we try to create an order it defaults to a work order that has already been created and cancelled
Find the maximum works order number allocated. Can use sql to do, or find from works order mai3800 form.
Works order numbers are stored in differemt loactions depending on the product option WORREFGEN. Check that value. Then use the following below.
If value = 'A'
Order numbers used are therefore allocated from hig_admin_units table, Need to locate appropriate admin unit where the problem is taking place. Last entry in here for admin unit 1 was 27656,. However, somehow they had managed to create and cancel an order 27657 but that hadn't been updated in the table. Therefore system would try to keep allocating next available number 27657 which had been taken. Applied the following :-
select hau_last_wor_no from hig_Admin_units where hau_admin_unit=1 ;
update hig_admin_unitsset hau_last_wor_no = 27657where hau_admin_unit = 1;
1 row updated
commit ;
Next number 27658 then allocated as expected. John created another orde and all ok. Closing call.
If value = 'C' ( contract based )
Find appropriate entry in contracts table - should establish the contract user is using - query back details using con_code in sql
Repalce xxx with appropriate code below
select con_code,con_last_wor_no from contractswhere con_code = 'xxx';
eg
select con_code,con_last_wor_no from contractswhere con_code = 'HIGHWAYS';
eg.
update contractsset con_last_wor_no = 473where con_code = 'HIGHWAYS'
Problem Number: 63480
