Trying to add defects to an existing works order that has one line with VALUATION status.Trying to add 50+ defects and it is failing with not priced.
Asked user to add one defect at a time for now and to check each BOQ that will price against the contract assigned to the works order. If that works then the issue is because defects don't have a BOQ so when being added onto an instructed works order it needs a price. Also asked user to check If a new works order would work ok and checked that the date raised at a value that will allow defects to be picked up
Once a BOQ is added, the defect went on order as expected.
Work around: To get round the issue I created a new works order, selected all defects as they don't have to be priced at this point. Then I added BOQs, priced them and instructed the order. Created a new works order line on original works order , with rogue item zero , that referenced the new works order number. It might be best to complete that new line created, so it is not left outstanding as it is just there to provide reference. All defects now on orders
(alternative : post adding BOQs could have deleted the order to put defects back in the pool with BOQs attached, to pick up again on original order so would price).
