Error or Warning Message

When loading a particular asset type through the CSV Loaders, I get an error:

NET-0339: You do not have permission to update this record

Explanation

This error is probably due to role or admin unit issues.

How to Avoid

Option 1 Admin Units

1. 1. Check that the user is assigned the same admin unit as the asset being created, or a parent admin unit of the asset's admin unit.  The user's admin unit can be found in the Users form (HIG1832).

 

Option 2 Roles

1. Go into the Asset Metamodel (NM0410) and check the roles assigned to the asset type being loaded against the user's roles in the Users form (HIG1832).
2. Go into the GIS Themes form (GIS0010) and check the roles assigned to the theme for the asset type being loaded against the user's roles in the Users form (HIG1832).
