Loading a datafile through the Inspection Loader causes following error message to be displayed
Error 9260 Chainage on I record exceeds required chainage for section.: Correct the section chainage
Issue occurs as trying to load a defect created at a chainage greater than the section length it is on.
Defect chainage = 71 meters. Section length = 57 metres
nm0105 - Elements form will display section length.
Defect created through MapCapture which uses a Shapefile.
When using Locator or MapCapture to create defect the chainage created exceeded the road length.
If a defect created at incorrect chainage, need to check road section lengths defined within the system.
Using Spatial Manager the measure tool reflected 57 metres, the length of the section. However, the spatial length in the database represented 108 metres reflecting a mismatch. This mismatch affects the chainage at which the defect gets created along the section..
In this example the spatial length looked like it should match the section length from the elements form so needed resetting.
