Can existing BOQ %uplift functionality in 4300/400 still be used in 4500?
Maintenance Manager Release Notes v220.127.116.11 detailThe current functionality in 4300/4400 remains as is in 4500 for percentage uplift(%uplifts). There is just some additional functionality to allow for other ways of doing % uplifts on a wok order line. Once implemented, the user will have the choice of specifying Percentage Uplifts against a work order line using the current method, or by using the new method. The processing will allow for a mixture of the two methods too.
On the contracts form (mai3880) there is a new checkbox Allow Percent Uplift. If this is ticked, then the new uplift functionality is allowed to be used on a works order using that contract. The standard item form has two new checkboxes that enable the new items to be selected for use with new functionality- these fields will only be enabled if the Unit is set to the value defined for Product Option PERC_ITEM. (ie the value to use for the Unit to signify a percentage item). One checkbox is for the whole line, the other applies to any boqs on that line that allow percentage uplifts. If either of these are checked then they are available for the new functionality. However, if the contract does not allow new functionality then they cannot be selected - even if they exist on contract. So not enabling on contract checkbox and not indicating in mai3808 standard item forms via Y in either BOQ Percent Uplift or WOL Percent Item should prevent. There does not seem to be a product option as such.
