The auto creation of works orders from defects shall take less than 3 seconds per defect. We know that works orders are automatically created when defects are loaded up if a rule exists, we need to know how long it takes to create this works order – is there a log of this anywhere?
If you use the process monitor screen (Fastpath HIG2520) and query back a process you can extract timing information. From the bottom block of the form there is Executions and Execution log. Next to the Column headed Type in the Execution Log part of the form, there is a button with what looks like a magnifying glass with a green cross. Select that button and you can see the details of the execution log. From here select the Save to File button at the bottom of the screen then open it and you will see timing data related to the processes involved in loading and auto creation.
If you export the data from the process monitor you will get timings you need. The table hig_process_log holds more detailed information if required.
