Problem

User has configured a new asset type in the Asset Metamodel NM0410 to be used for alerts, but it isn’t shown in the list of values for the ‘Alert For’ field in HIG1520.

Solution

 This problem occurs when the user has configured a new asset type in NM0410 and:

1. The Category is not set to ‘A’
2. The Admin Type is not set to ‘EXT$’
3. The End Date field has been populated with a date
