Application Server running at 100% since upgrade to 220.127.116.11, having a knock on effect for users with connection problems and performance degradation. System Configuration Info: Application server also used to run autobatch.
In this case, it was because autobatch was running on the application server. It runs every few minutes, but as there had been an upgrade, on the application server console it tried to launch the application, asked for you to click ok for the java privileges before launching the application. As no-one had logged onto the console, it had 20+ IE windows open waiting for the security certificate to be ok'd.The user logged on, closed all the IE windows down, accepted the security certificate and ran the batch process a few times to check. The CPU dropped from 100% to a couple and all now ok.Problem ref 65424
