Datum network tables in v 4.0 and higher are usually created with only the PK and shape columns. This obviously poses a problem when users want to export the table as a shapefile for use with MapCapture.
This script will create a spatial view called NETWORK_JOIN which will contain all the necessary attributes for use in MapCapture.
Note: You need to edit the script and change <base spatial table> to the network SDO table and <feature shape column> to network table's spatial column before running it.
THis script can be used to basically register any custom spatial view within our system.
In a nutshell the workflow is:
1. Create view2. Register as theme (nm3sdo.register_table)3. Insert into nm_theme_roles (sql insert)4. Insert into nm_theme_gtypes (sql insert)5. Register in SDE (nm3sdo.register_table)6. Insert into nm_nw_themes (for networks, insert into nm_nit_themes for assets) (sql insert)
