When submitting a gazetteer load, everything appears to work ok and the batch is submitted, however the load does not start and no progress is seen in the Monitor NSG Loader form and no errors are shown.
This usually means that there is a problem with starting the job in the background and there are a few things to check:1 – In the Monitor NSG Loader form click on the options button and then the Recreate Job button.2 – If no progress is shown within a few minutes then open the HIG2550 Process Framework Administration form and check the traffic light is green – if not then start it.3 – If no progress is made then log onto the database server and check that the Oracle Job Scheduler service is running.
