When exporting the gazetteer the process starts but hangs – no message is seen and the progress stays at 0%.
If you have made changes to your database or the directories which are used for NSG files then it is possible that the Java permissions for the directories need to be checked and refreshed.
Open the exor->Directory Management->Directories form HIG1895 and select the NSG_DATA_EXPORT directory. Click on the Java Role Privs tab and check that all of the permission boxes are ticked against each of the roles, then try exporting again. If this doesn’t resolve the problem then select the Roles tab and note down each role you have listed for the NSG_DATA_EXPORT directory, then delete them, save and add them back in again.
Please note that between each test you will need to log out of the application and close all internet browser windows before logging in again, in order for the Java permissions change to be picked detected.Problem Reference: 63714
