When clicking on Help -> Current Form or the ? icon, the Web Help pages are not shown as expected.
Some setup is required in order for Web Help to work and it is worth checking your product options or application server settings are correct as this is normally the problem.
Firstly in the Highways application open the Product Options form and check the following:1 – Check option HTMLHLPST is set to /HIG/WEBHELP/HIG.HTM2 – Check option HTML_BASE refers to your application server within the URL. For example if your application server is called ‘exor’ then the option would be set to http://exor/webhelp
Secondly on the application server itself:1 – Navigate to the httpd.conf file which is located within your oracle_home\apache\apache\conf directory. For example on one of our test servers this is located in C:\oracle\product\10.1.2\asfr\Apache\Apache\conf.2 – At the end of the file there should be a reference to the exor.conf file which is located within the exor_base\env directory. For example on our test server the end of the file reads as follows:# Include path for reports and Aliasesinclude "C:\exor\env\exor.conf"3 – Open the exor.conf file and check that it includes an alias for webhelp and this references the help\webhelp directory within your exor_base directory that contains all of the help files (this is created automatically when running the install/upgrade installers). For example on our test server the following line is included in the file:alias /webhelp "c:\exor\help\webhelp/"
