There are transactions showing at the Error status in TMA3000 and as a result I’m unable to send any further transactions for the same works as they are held at the Pending Send status.
The Pending Send status is a feature that stops any further notices being sent if a previous transaction for the same works reference is at the Error status. This is done to try and prevent out of sequence problems occurring at the recipient’s side.
In TMA3000 Monitor Web Service Transactions query back the works reference of the problem transaction, ensuring you have un-ticked the ‘restrict’ and ticked the ‘include successful transactions’ check box. Once you execute the query you should then see all the transactions associated with that works reference.
Next you need to identify the first transaction at the Error status and then click on the recipient tab at the bottom of the page to identify what recipient it has failed to send to and why. Scroll through the list until you find and Organisation / District that is missing a ‘response date/time’, which should give details on why it has failed in the Fault Reason field.
The first thing to do to try and resolve the error transaction is retry it as the problem is normally with the recipient and they may have already fixed the cause on their side.
If the transaction fails to be sent again then check that the Notice URL of the failed recipient is correct and isn’t being blocked by a firewall or proxy server. You can lookup the Notice URL of a recipient in the NSG0110 Organisations & Districts form. You may need to speak with the recipient to see if there are any problems on their side, such as a firewall or proxy server.
If you find that all is ok with the notice URL and firewalls etc then please lookup the error message on the Bentley website as there may be a knowledge base record for it that gives further instructions.
If the transaction doesn’t need to be sent to the recipient which is causing the error, then you can force any Pending Send transactions to send by retrying them.
