When user opens an ApEx report, or clicks the run button on an Oracle Report, no report is shown as expected.
Both types of report open in a new internet browser page and can often be stopped from opening if you have an active pop-up blocker. If there is a problem with the reports server then Oracle normally shows an error message in a new browser page, so if nothing is seen then it is usually a pop-up blocker or firewall/proxy server problem.
Please disable your pop-up blocker to test if this is the cause of your report not opening. If so then please amend your pop-up blocker rules to allow the report to open. If you’re unsure how to do this then please speak to your IT department who will be able to help you make the configuration change for your brand of pop-up blocker software.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue then the problem could be with your businesses firewall or proxy server. Please speak to your IT department and ask them to check.
