User reported that since upgrading Web Services, some previous EToN outgoing BPEL instances are showing as stale.
You should be ok to ignore any instances at the stale state. These instances occur when the web service hasn’t completed the send or receive process. These BPEL Instances wouldn’t have reported a successful or failure response back to the database. When this happens the database will time out the transaction after half an hour, then change it to the Error status. Once a transaction is at the error status a user can then retry the transaction via the TMA3000 form, which should then transmit successfully. If they were incoming transactions then the sender won’t have received a response and should automatically retry them.
