Problem Description

I am trying to create a role so that users can query all assets back in the "Search for" combo box of the locator form, and also have the ability to create defects on assets and create / attach enquiries to assets.

However I don't want them to be able to change the network data, and have NET_USER functionality.

NET_USER functionality gives me the required facilities but also gives me access to functions such as close element and recalibrate that I don’t want users to have access to.

Steps to Resolve

1. Create a new role NET_LOCATOR and set the related users to this role;
2. Open HIG1836 (Roles) and add  modules NM0515 (Locate Item) and NM0572 (Locator) in NORMAL Mode to Role NET_LOCATOR;
3. Then open NM0410 (Asset Metamodel) and query each type of asset, switch to Role tab and add NET_LOCATOR (Normal mode) to each of them.
