Problem

Presently version 4.2.9 of Maintenance Manager Mobile installed on Trimble Juno devices for RS Inspectors. Daily the inspector uploads/downloads his inspections to his PC via the Send/Receive option. The inspection data should be transferred to his Tempsurvey folder o
n the PC, instead it is being held in the mmgr\holding file on the Trimble device and is not transferring to the C:\tempsurvey folder on his pc. The inspector then has too manually transfer this .dat file to his pc for Atlas Loader Stage 1 to find it.

The c:\tempsurvey folder is created and shared out on the inspectors PC. On the Trimble device when you load the internet and type in the badge number of the pc eg \\Ess014693, it displays all the folders that are created as shared folders on the display of the Trimble Device.

When the installation of this version of maintenance mobile was rolled out a Hard Reset of all devices took place. Can you please investigate

Replication Steps: Sending data collected using Send/Receive

System Configuration Info: Standard

Solution

On Device In Tools , Options, Settings, in the route upload tab, ensure upload route to desktop pc folder radio checkbox selected with PC SHARE PATH=TempSurvey. On PC directory  C:\TempSurvey right mouse click - check sharing tab, ensure Share this folder on the network checked and Share name filed = TempSurvey. Also ensure allow network users to change my files ticked. After sending receiving check files in pc directory.

Note if this does not work do a hard rest of teh device re-install software. Ensure cam see shared directory on pc from Internet Explorer by typing in //name of pc/TempSurvey to see if directories listed. The first time you do this you will be asked to enter a password that is cached - get that wrong and nothing will transfer if done all the above. Reset the handheld device and re-install sofware again.
