Steps to install new API

Server pre-requisites for self-hosted users only:

• Install .net 6 Hosting bundle
  • https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-aspnetcore-6.0.0-windows-hosting-bundle-installer
• Setup Application Pool for api as No Managed Code
  

Configuration

Update appsettings.json values with the values found in the web.config of the main website

Note: Be sure to escape any \ to \\

Usage

All currently supported endpoints can be viewed and tested at
http://SITENAME-it-cots-api.bentley.com/swagger/index.html  (replace SITENAME with your sitename, i.e. MyStateDOT)

Generate api credentials at https://SITENAME-it-cots.bentley.com/api_management.aspx
