Support for Internet Explorer 11 is Ending for All BCDE Releases After January 1, 2023.

Why?

• Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 10 on June 15, 2022.
• Key libraries used in BCDE (such as the Rich Text Editor) will lose support for Internet Explorer 11 beginning in 2023. We take security very seriously and need to ensure that we are running the latest, most secure versions of each library we harness.
• Supporting legacy web browsers takes time away from bringing your requirements to the product.
• Microsoft has already stopped supporting Internet Explorer 11 in their web applications. For example, Microsoft 365 ended support for Internet Explorer 11 after August 17, 2021.

If your organization is still using Internet Explorer 11, you will need to consider:

• Deploying an alternate web browser for your users to access BCDE from 2023 onwards.
• Moving users to Microsoft Edge and using Internet Explorer Mode for legacy websites and apps that your users still need access to.
