Your BCDE server has the capability of connecting to other Bentley services. This information page is a summary of those services.
- Bentley "IMS" (Identity Management Service)
Bentley IMS can be used as an alternative to Single Sign On or SAML to replace the use of a separate BCDE username or password.
- Please note that Bentley IMS is required if you wish to:
- configure links between BCDE spaces with projects in Projectwise
- Use the Infrastructure Cloud Integration (coming soon)
- The Bentley Context Registry
This service is used to check what your Bentley account has access to.
- The "BUDDI" service (Bentley URL Discovery Directory Interface)
This service is used to look up the URLs of things that your Bentley account has access to.
- If you are using the Infrastructure Cloud Integration:
- You will need to be using IMS for authentication as stated above, so that the BCDE user accounts can be linked with your wider Bentley account.
- The Bentley "Projects" API - https://esapi-projects.bentley.com/swagger/index.html for creating the iTwin in Infrastructure Cloud
- The Bentley "iTwin" API - https://developer.bentley.com/ for creating the iModel.
- The user will be sent to the Infrastructure Cloud https://infrastructurecloud.bentley.com/ when BCDE directs them to the viewer.
- There is a requirement that the BCDE server must be accessible by the synchronisation service so that it can download the file from BCDE.
- If you are using the BCDE Sync module, the following web services scopes are used:
- openid
- profile
- organization
- context-registry-service
- product-settings-service
- projectwise-web-connections-service
- repository-federation-2567
- sso://pw-integration-server/1016
