Hi, Another usefull functionality would be that we can "distribute" documents (including xref etc...) instead of using ICS. The priority usecase for us is still email notifications after trigger documnents…

We are working on a new release that will have the saved search functionality. It is coming soon. Can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by "distribute"?

We are looking at using the /User class to provide an ability for non administrators (typically information managers with no access to PWA) to disable users in certain datasources. We can use the /User class with GET to retrieve the information, but when using a POST we get the following error;

    "message": "User must provide federated identity relationship."

What I am not clear about is does this refer to the connection, which is using my credentials, and I am an IMS user, or the user account, which is a type 2 account, which does appear to be an IMS account, although I can find no documentation to show me what the json payload should look like, so I am re-using part of the results of the GET process.

We would also like to look at using the POST to create users in a datasource as part of a secure approval process for sensitive projects, but until we can get the POST working for the first part of updating properties on a user we are parking that work.

I hope that makes sense, but if anyone has any experience of using this, or can point me to documentation for it that would be hugely appreciated.

Just belatedly found this;

Which adding the relationship properties for the federated account removes the error above, but now getting the error mentioned in the last post with;

    "message": "Error creating a new user. User is not an administrator."

}

How do we get around this? The connection is using a PWA account, and we are admins in the Connect User Management portal, what administrator is it referring to?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Paul,

Currently we do not support certain administrative actions. We are going to implement an improvement on our end to make it work. I'll get back to this post once it's released.
