primary moment error when using TempVar

When we using TempVar, RM Bridge V8i is printing its primary moment as TB0, not the TB in loadset.  The correct one is TB in theory.  Test a simple 2D 2-span continuous girder model.  Primary stress is OK but still a single stress check point doesnt express a stress jump at the temperature border.  see attachments.  maybe there is error in displacement but i didnt check.

  • According to what I can see from the drawing it seems that results could be correct, since the program cannot store two results in one and the same position (i.e. in one stress point).

You would need to set up another stress point at the position of the jump (i.e. not at the same, but just very close to it, so that you get one result before and after this position).

If this doesn’t solve your query, please attach the file of your sample.
