As specified in ACI 10.10.2.1, How do you compare the Moment including the Second-order effects in compression members is less than 1.4 times the first order moments in RC Pier?
The gravity Load stability check which basically includes the self weight and other dead loads , RCPier basically doesn't split the Live load and Dead load but combines together to perform P delta analysis . RCpier performs direct P - delta analysis and the condition as specified in ACI 10.10.2.1 is not checked.
Just to add a note Under analysis TAB we cannot see the P-delta effect . P-delta can be seen only on the column design status. In the analysis Tab it will be just first order analysis. User can use these 2 values to compare . Please let me know if you need any additional information.
