OBM - Bridge Deck Template - Is it possible to have 2 working points?

Question

Is it possible to have 2 working points for a bridge deck? The distance from the left edge of deck to WP1 would be 10 feet constant. The distance from the right edge of deck to WP2 would be 10 feet constant. The distance between WP1 and WP2 would vary so the overall deck width would vary. Thanks, Eric...ver. 08.11.09.211

Eric, it is not possible to have 2 Working Points(WP). A template can have only 1 WP. But you should be able to model what you want using variable constraints. Let us know if you need further assistance on this...

Eric, Your template should have additional points defined at the 15 constant distance. When you place the deck, you will be able to specify the point constraints for these points, and have them follow the alignments 1 and 2 respectively.

Please note: In current market version, it is not possible to edit the point constraints for the deck that has already been placed. You will need to redefine the deck. This is fixed in the upcoming release (early next week).

There are two options for this controlling the placement of decks vertically. You can chose to input the WP 2'-5" from the top of the deck in the template. Note, the WP does not have to be on the shape/template. Alternatively you can input a "vertical offset" during placement time. negative value will push the deck down, from the alignment.

Eric, OBM automatically inserts points at breaks between the line segments. So in order to have a point, you must break the line. So yes, in your case, you should have four separate line segments. You/end user cannot control the naming. It has some built in logic (clockwise etc.)
