Usually the lines will get generated in a random pattern and this affects how the numbers display. As a workaround I will draw my lines first and then place circles at the ends of each line. I delete the lines and then come back and draw them (using the circles as a guide) in the order I want the numbers to display and then delete the circles. A lot to do but it works.
Thanks,
So in order to have a point, you must break the line. So yes, in your case, you should have four separate line segments. You/end user cannot control the naming. It has some built in logic (clockwise etc.)

Thanks,
How did you get points P_0 and P_6? Can you place points manually or are these drawn up as four separate line segments between P_5, P_6, P_7, P_0 and P_1? Also how do you rename points or can you rename them at all?

Thanks,
Eric

RE: OBM - Bridge Deck Template - Is it possible to have 2 working points?

There are two options for this controlling the placement of decks vertically. You can chose to input the WP 2'-5" from the top of the deck in the template. Note, the WP does not have to be on the shape/template. Alternatively you can input a "vertical offset" during placement time. negative value will push the deck down, from the alignment.

RE: OBM - Bridge Deck Template - Is it possible to have 2 working points?

Good news, I was able to get this to work horizontally. However now I can't seem to control it vertically. The top of deck wants to stay at the same elevation as the alignment. I want it to be lower than the alignment by 2'-5".
When you place the deck, you will be able to specify the point constraints for these points, and have them follow the alignments 1 and 2 respectively.

Please note: In current market version, it is not possible to edit the point constraints for the deck that has already been placed. You will need to redefine the deck. This is fixed in the upcoming release (early next week).

RE: OBM - Bridge Deck Template - Is it possible to have 2 working points?

Thank you Sri. A template can have only 1 WP. But you should be able to model what you want using variable constraints. Let us know if you need further assistance on this...
