drop or export an OBM model?

OBM creates a less than perfect model at this time. Is is possible to export the 3D elements or drop or convert to solids so that we are able to detail it further?

I use to be able to send the model to LEAP Steel and then export that Cadd model, but there appears to be issues with the conversion from OBM to LEAP to creating graphics that are correct so now i'm looking to bypass that step.

I think exporting the file as a STEP file, or any of the other formats supported by MicroStation, and then importing it back into MicroStation will drop all the Civil/OpenRoads and OBM Rules, and make the model amenable to further modifications.

it would be better if we had the ability to just drop it right inside microstation, importing and exporting always introduces problems with solids and surfaces not carrying through properly.

Try the ages old File Fence command...I believe this will strip the elements of their intelligence.
