The depth of my Abutment Pile Cap displays correctly when shown in the "Edit Abutment" window but is not being shown correctly in my 3D model. It is currently shown being shown much deeper.
I also have a few general comments/suggestions regarding future enhancements:
- Provide ability to automatically adjust footing off of multiple controlling terrains. There are some areas that my footings are controlled by existing ground and some controlled by proposed ground.
- Ability to copy up 3D shape to dgn to add visualization features. Currently if I want to show this to a client I have to export it to a google sketch up format and then re-import it.
- Vertical clearance - clash detection is ok for knowing you have enough vertical clearance in some locations but this is a bridge/transportation specific tool. Being able to define a corridor and have it look for and call out minimum vertical clearance would make this a more intelligent model.

Thanks for the tip. That is great to know and until the next release I can work backward by adjusting the column length to control the top of footing.

Eric, The user input Top of Footing Elevation should be available in the next commercial release of OBM, i.e. V8i SS 2, tentatively planned for January 2017.
Yes if you select the footing in the tree view, you should be able to see the Footing Elevation as shown in the image below.
