It appears that when checking the shear and torsion in cap, RC Pier combines the maximum shear value with the maximum torsion value at each point, even though they come from different load combinations. Am i correct? Was that done intentionally? If so, why?
This would of course be conservative, but potentially quite over-conservative in some cases.
