i'd like for OBM to be able to report accurate quantities.
i have a bridge 7 girders, 60'-93'-60' spans, W36x170.
that quantities are just a bit off (32.9lbs???). i guess cross frames aren't important either? whats worse is i cant even grab the volume of steel to do my own calc.
User needs to assign a material for the beams (in the beam definition dialog) and the cross-frames and stiffeners (in the library), after which you will see the correct report.
We use the unit weight from the material properties to develop the quantities (weight).
