I found the AASHTO section (3.6.1.3.1) that references the need for two trucks spaced 50’ apart in order to determine the reaction at the piers. It also mentions that this load is to be reduced by 90%.
Does Conbox take the 90% factor into account while providing reactions at the interior supports ?
If I have modeled 2 frames of the bridge separately, which makes the common pier an abutment in both the frames, do I have to multiply the reaction obtained from Conbox with the 0.9 factor since it didn't technically get modeled as an intermediate pier, assuming Conbox doesn't multiply the abutment reactions by 0.9 and only does that for interior piers?
