Clip the roadway corridor in the area of the bridge

Disadvantages

Terrain models for the entire corridor are not available for the clipped (bridge) area

RE: OBM - What is the best practice for not having the roadway corridor and the bridge deck overlap when displaying in 3D?

Thanks Steve. Modeling the bridge deck using a separate "deck" template in the corridor would work. I had not thought of that. Of course that would mean you would still have some overlap with skewed abutments.

Anyone else use this or any other method?

RE: OBM - What is the best practice for not having the roadway corridor and the bridge deck overlap when displaying in 3D?

Carlos: you could turn off the bridge deck display after you have it modeled assuming you have also modeled the deck as part of your corridor.
