Our firm noticed, during the design of a hollow box bridge with inclined top slab (curved bridge with 7% transversal slope), that elastic stress calculation performed by RM bridge is not correct. In fact, even if it's possible to model generic cross sections in the cross section editor, the program always considers cross section axes (drawing axes) as they were principal axes, neglecting the effect of Iyz in stress calculation.
For example, if bottom slab is horizontal and top slab is inclined, all the points in the bottom slab will have the same stress for a moment Mz, even if their distance from neutral axis is different.
We reported the problem to the support service, but they replied that even if this is a known issue, nobody is asking for implementation of the correct procedure and so it is not on the priority list for future developments.
I was wondering if other users noticed the problem and can put some pressure on the development team for rapid implementation.

Luca,
As informed we got this stress issue in the list for the current development period and you´ll get a special built to test it and verify our solution when ready. In the nexts weeks we might include your team in a call with RM Bridge Product Manager to discuss it.
