I am facing an issue with the strut and tie modelling of bridge footing in LEAP Concrete. The footing is 4 feet deep with 2 piles, so my understanding was I only need the strut and tie model in one direction. But the software does not allow me to do that. So I created a model in the other direction too ( where there is only one pile), However, I came across a couple of issues:
1) When I use auto design, The program places only bottom reinforcement, None for the top reinforcement.
2) I added additional RF and checked the design status but the program does not recognize/consider Z-direction bars, ( as shown in the screenshot of the report)
How do I resolve this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
