As shown in the image above, I am getting extremely large spikes in the shear reactions at the bearings for my 3 span curved girder design. The smaller values along the bearings are the shear reactions I would expect to see. I only have slab loads selected, but this is happening for most of the load types.
I am having trouble understanding where these values are coming from, and if it just an issue elsewhere in my model.
Some of the issues related to FEM analysis was fixed in V18.02.00.12 and I would suggest you install this version and try to rerun the analysis and check if you are still facing the high shear values.
