For column design using "Substructure" (RC Pier) in LEAP Bridge Concrete CONNECT V17, why is the check box for moment magnification gray'd out? I am designing a two column (round) pier with a straight, rectangular bent cap. I have tried to model it both with a strut and without and the box for moment magnification is still gray. I have also gone into the A/D parameters under the analysis tab and selected Moment Magnification under Column Slenderness, and the box in the column design tab for moment magnification is still gray'd out.
I cannot seem to get this option to work regardless of what design parameters I change or analysis options I choose:
