I am trying to apply point controls to my deck and it will not work.
I've attached a picture of what the program tells me.
I dont understand what over lap it is talking about.
I made a new template with lanes of 2ft to see if it would work since my blue lines ( complex geo) are outside.

If I understood correctly from your picture, you try to give a horizontal offset to the WP (P0). Do the other points of the section have constraints towards the P0? If not, they will overlap.
I tested out all points and none of them are able to follow the shape. I made a template that replicates the w/ constraints deck.
I initially used the w/ constraints deck and it didn't work, so I thought maybe I had to reduce the lane width and I duplicated it.
Esme, You need to add constraints for the outer points of the shape to follow the movement of the WP(P0). Because the exterior points are not following the WP, when you move WP you will have overlapping sections.
Ok. So I will change Parent to --> Working point?
