Is it possible in RCPier / Substructure / LEAP Concrete V18 to model a tie beam / intermediate bent with a different column diameter above and below the tie beam? Like so:
I have tried to enter column information for both diameter columns, but I get the message that "Cannot add column to the same location." Note: my design uses drilled shafts not spread footings as shown above.
Just a suggest ion you should try to use Rectangular chamfered option and model the column set up shown in the screenshot.
Then you should be able to add a strut or tie beam.
