When using the the section cut tools in Openbridge, the software generate a section cut of the bridge and automaticaly annotate it with dimensions (Nice!) but how do we configure thoses annotations?
How can we configure what get annotate and based on what criteria? Is this hard coded? Annotation group? Points in template?
How can we configure this to fit our standards?
Any help please,
Regards
JeremieDL Those annotations are made to annotate OpenBridge Modeler objects programmatically . You can control the level name and properties for them, for now. What options would you need or what are your standards? Those annotations are compliant with different DOT standards (US standards).
@Vlad Grigoras, is there a way to automatically annotate centerline callouts and elevations of ends of rail?
Hi,
I don't understand what you mean by "automatically annotate centerline callouts". Can you attach a sketch with what you want to annotate, please?
If this sketch represents a section view that was automatically dimensioned using the "Create Drawings" feature, I am wonder if there is a way to callout the centerline of the feature (abutment, pier, grade beam, etc.) and necessary elevations. I understand how to manually input these callouts, but was wondering if there is a way to automate this process, like the dimensions that are generated using the "Create Drawings" feature of OBM
Unfortunately, you can't do this automatically.
