I need to model a DDI Bridge that contains a 10'-8" multi-use path down the center of the bridge. Using the built-in pedestrian load in the loads tab will cause the applied pedestrian live load to be placed anywhere within the limits of the roadway for the worst case, but not limited to the needed area. Is there a way to isolate a section down the middle of the bridge for pedestrian loading?
In the Analysis dialog Box click on lane Setup and under Lane Layout select Fixed
Vehicle path - Center of lane
Left Reference -- Offset from Left - Provide the required number
Right Reference -- offset from Right -- Provide the Required number.
I believe you need to have the sidewalk in the center of the bridge , please double check it.
and then click apply.
