Does LARS calculate the distribution factor for the exterior beam of a steel beam-slab bridge assuming the cross-section deflects and rotates as a rigid-cross section (AASHTO LRFD 4.6.2.2.2d) in addition to the distribution factors determined in the AASHTO Section 4 Tables? I'm working on a project in which the rigid cross-section DF is controlling, but I'm unable to get the program to replicate the results of my hand calculations. It's not clear in the manual whether LARS applies the rigid cross-section provision.
There is no option to account for rigid cross section Provision in LARS.
I would suggest you to hand calculate the DF and input that information manually in the program.
