Is there a way for RC-Pier to pair the WS cases to a specific load group when a user-defined load group is used? I am trying to use a 1.0 factor for TU, CR, and SH forces and have created user-defined load groups for STR 1, 3, and 5. When I created these groups, I copied the original groups in the library and modified the factors for TU, CR, and SH.
I used the auto generation feature to create 36 WS cases: (1-9 are STR 3, 10-18 are SERV 4, 19-27 are STR V and 28-36 are SER 1). When I used the original program default load groups, only WS1-WS9 were used in the STR 3 combinations, WS10-WS18 are used in SERV 4, and so on. However, now when I use my user-defined load groups, all 36 WS load are used in each load group that has WS loading. This is causing an unreasonable number of load combinations to be created to the point that the analysis crashes. Is there a way to use the user-defined load groups with only the WS loads that apply to that group?
