Hi,
I have for some time tried to generate an alignment in OpenBridge Modeler, but haven't succeed yet. I have watched a bunch of videos trying to capture what to do and I have figured out the most, but when trying to get to get the last step binding the horizontal and the vertical profile together I fail. I simply can't get the two complex geometry lines to be binded together.
I have no problems with designing the horizontal alignment and I can open the Profile Model and define the vertical profile, but what then ... Nothing happens
I expect to find the 2D line in one model and the 3D line in another model, but until now, it will not happen.
Can someone explain to me what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks in Advance
Ole Bro

Hi Vlad,
Perfect !
Thank you. The only part i was missing, was the "Set active profile" to define and bind the lines together.
I don't think I will forget that function - Ever

Please follow these steps:
- create the alignment geometry using the tools in the tab Civil --> Horizontal
- bind all the lines/curves using the tool "Complex geometry".
- be sure to specify a name for your alignment
- using tool Modify (Horizontal group) specify a start station
- open the profile view and create your profile
- be sure to specify a name for your profile
- using the tool "Set active Profile" (Vertical group) select first your alignment and then your profile to bind them together
Please let me know if you managed to successfully create an alignment.
