Hi,
I created an elevation profile by using the open elevation view then placed a named boundary, but the elevation view looks like there's a lot of elements missing. How can I fix this?
I'm using the latest open bridge modeler 7.03
Hi Crisanto,
The profile cut does a cut trough the alignment without adding depth for that cut, so, if your element is intersected by the alignment plane it will show up on your view otherwise it will not be shown.
Hi Vlad, i was able to adjust the section offset so that the other elements will show. But is there another way we can make an elevation view? Because the section depth cannot be edited in this method hence the barrier will not be shown.
Currently, you can't give an offset. We have this issue on our list of future enhancements.
Hi Vlad,Any updates regarding this one? its over a year ago and i still doesn't see on the recent updates that this enhancement has been added yet. This feature is really important especially for those who are modelling a bridge on a curved alignment.Cheers,
Cris
Have a look at the bellow wiki. Currently, we can't give a cut depth to the profile cut, but you can overlap multiple views that have offsets.

I would like to see this workflow of overlapping the multiple views to get what we want. Could you make a short video?
Thanks!

Hi Steven,
I will try to do a short video this week if it is not too late for you.
Thanks for understanding!
No worries, not anything critical. I've just been playing around with what I think the best way to generate our typical Plan & Elevation sheets are so i'm curious about this workflow. I would imagine if you are overlaying multiple cuts for a deck with a cross slope that the decks in each cut will show up at a slightly different elevations due to the different offsets.
